Why It Matters

Websites Age Faster Than You Think

A website needs looking after long after it goes live. New security flaws turn up in WordPress plugins every week, and each one needs an update to close it. Pages also slow down as images and old data pile up.

Attackers use automated tools that scan thousands of websites at once. For the most targeted flaws, the first attacks begin within hours of the flaw being made public.

We take care of all of that for you, from software updates and speed fixes to security checks and small content edits. You won't need to touch the technical side unless you want to.

Problems Spotted Early

We run uptime and security monitoring around the clock, take regular backups and apply security patches. When something goes wrong, the alert comes to us and we look into it.

If you're on Growth or Protect, you also get your own SEO dashboard. It shows where you rank in Google and how that has changed, along with your traffic and your competitors' positions. You can also check which other websites link to yours, audit the site and see how you show up in AI search results.

On Maintain, your monthly report shows your uptime figures and a site health score.

Why Maintenance Matters

What Regular Maintenance Covers

Where a website starts to slip when nobody's looking after it.

Security

Updates close the security holes that malware and automated attacks look for. Keeping software patched also protects the customer data your site holds.

Performance Optimisation

Websites slow down as images and old database entries build up. Regular tidy-ups keep pages loading quickly on phones, and Google uses page speed as one of its ranking signals.

SEO and Search Rankings

Google can only rank pages it can reach and load properly. Regular checks catch broken links and slow pages that can cost you search traffic.

Content Updates

Out-of-date prices, staff photos or opening hours make a business look neglected. Small monthly edits keep those details right without you having to open the editor.

Functionality

A plugin update can quietly break a contact form or a checkout. Regular checks confirm that enquiries and orders are still coming through.

User Experience

Layout bugs, menus that don't work on phones and hard-to-read text put visitors off before they get in touch. Ongoing care catches these.

Ask a Question
Every plan includes malware removal and site restoration. We clean the infected files, find how the attacker got in, close that gap and restore from a clean backup if needed, at no extra cost.
Usually straight away, and the same working day at the latest, on every plan. Growth and Protect requests also go ahead of the standard queue.
Send us what you'd like changed, and the developer who looks after your site makes the edit. Maintain covers small text and image changes each month, and Growth also covers new pages and blog posts. Requests from Growth and Protect clients are handled ahead of the standard queue.

We speed up database queries, set up caching (ready-made copies of your pages that load faster), compress images, shrink code files and check that your hosting is configured properly.
No. Plans run month by month.
No. There's no VAT to add: the monthly price is what you pay.
It depends on how your site is built. Hosting and the SSL certificate are included for some kinds of site, but not for WordPress sites. We'll tell you which applies to yours before you start.
Yes. You can change plans at any time, and your bill is adjusted for the part of the month already used.
Yes. We can do one-off fixes and updates for sites that aren't on a care plan. A monthly plan is better value, because problems get dealt with while they're still small.
